One of those days...

Bella is having one of those days...
Some of the things I have heard her say in the last HOUR are:
"Is Daddy home?"
"Where did Daddy go?"
"Daddy, where are you going?"
"Mommy, where did Daddy go?"
"What are you doing, Daddy?"
"What are you doing, Mommy?"
"What are you eating, Mommy?"
"Mommy, what do you have?"
"What do you have, Daddy?"
"Do you see that?"
"What is that?"
"What is that?"
"What is that?"
"What are you doing?"
"What are you doing?"
"What are you doing?"
All I can say is, "When is BEDTIME?"

9 years and counting...

So yesterday was our nine year (!) anniversary. When I say it out loud, it's pretty crazy to me that it's been so long, but at the same time it seems like it's been FOREVER (whether that is a good thing or a bad thing depends on the day). ;) We did NOTHING yesterday (which was my choice) since Dusty didn't get off work until almost 7 and by that time at night I'm pretty wiped out. I hope we aren't turning into one of those couples... All and all it's been a pretty great ride... and next year we'll make up for not doing anything this year and do something AWESOME! Maybe Hawaii??? One can only hope... :)

Baby Update...

We went to another doctor's appointment today. We are now getting to the final stages where we have to go every week. So here's the big news we found out today... we are not even close to seeing this baby. It could be a while before she comes. I was not excited to hear that. In fact, when the doctor said that my response was "Oh, man!" And said to me in return "What? Are you ready to be done?" Um... YES!

New (and old) Baby pictures

We had (our last, hopefully) scan today to check the Baby's progress and to make sure that she's growing as much as they would like. And we got to get some more pictures today, so that was nice. You can really see what she might look like when she gets here. Doctor says that she looks great and is right on track for where she should be.
We went from this...
September 30, 2010 (almost 12 weeks)
December 3, 2010 (21 weeks)
February 21, 2011 (a little over 32 weeks)
So, who do you think she looks like?

Baby Update...

We have another scan coming up next week, but just a little update in the mean time. Since I last posted we had a scan done that revealed NO heart problems. We were very excited to hear that. So far it looks like everything is normal. Our doctor even seems a little less concerned about this baby having down syndrome, although we'll still have to wait til she comes to know for sure. I've still been dealing with low iron, vitamin B-6 and vitamin D, but I can handle that. Our next scan was scheduled because baby has been measuring a little small (and my growth hormones were a little low) so they want to make sure that she's growing enough. Though, it makes me wonder if this was why Bella was so little. I'm looking forward to this scan though because my parents will be in town and Bella will be able to go with me (this particular doctor doesn't allow children in the exam room unless there is another adult to supervise them so she has been hanging out with her cousin Jacob during my appointments).
Other than that we are moving right along. She is moving around like crazy! She decided what I can and can't do most days. Sometimes she pushes up and down at the same time which makes it very difficult to bend (or sit!). This can get very annoying.
It's been fun to hear what Bella thinks about having a baby sister. Some times she is convinced that she has a "baby sister" in her tummy. She also thinks that my sister's daughter, Abby, or even my cousin's daughter, Claire is going to be her baby sister. When I ask her where her baby sister is some times she'll tell me she's at Jacob's house (Claire's brother). It's pretty funny.

It's been a while...

Since it's been so long since I've posted anything... here's a recap of some of what we've been up to.
My cousin, Stacee, who lives in Central Point turned us on to this great park. There are a couple of good parks in Medford, but the people who hang out at them can get a little sketchy, definitely not places I would want to go by myself with Bella. Anyway, Bella loves this park and the section of it that is primarily for little kiddos. She loves to climb on this dragon, which she calls a chicken... don't ask me why...

At the Clackamas Town Center. We went up to Portland to visit the Conlkins and got to go to the mall! Yay! It took Bella about 5 ties to get to the top. Other kids kept climbing up and knocking her off. I was getting a little ticked at those stupid kids, but Bella didn't seem to mind. She just waited until they left and would try again. Eventually making it to the top.
Playing in her pig hamper (the best free thing we took from the Orchard Court laundry room). She loves to hid in it. This pic is a little blurry, but the expression on Bella's face is awesome. She was having so much fun.
At the Mall. Bella got some antlers from the Santa they had there. She wouldn't sit on Santa's lap (or even make eye contact with him), but she liked the antlers nonetheless.
We got a little snow here in Medford. It was mostly gone by the time we got out to play in it, but Bella had fun eating it off the bushes.
Helping Grandma Sue make some cookies.
See?!?!
We went out to the Lake of the Woods with my parents while they were up here. It was even warm enough for Dusty, Bella and Anna to get in the water.
Bella and Daddy had fun sitting on the porch of the Lake of the Woods Restaurant in the giant Adirondack chairs. We had dinner there, it wasn't great, but it was ok.

Bella and I got to go to Game 5 of the Giants v. Phillies series in San Fransisco with Kellie and my Dad. It was a lot of fun, even though they didn't win that game. They did win the World Series so it was worth it.
We went down to Chico to visit Dusty's little brother, Jared, and his family and too see them bless their newest daughter, Kalla. While there we had some family pictures taken. It was was a little crazy with all those people, but a lot of fun.
Why is it that the years that the Rogerson's decide to take family pictures I am pregnant? So much fun to have that baby fat documented.
