Vacationing in Oregon

I have been trying to update our blog for a while now, but it wouldn't let me add pictures. So here we go... Two weeks ago my sister, Jennifer, her husband, Scott, and me newest niece, Lilly, came up to Redding for the week. Of course, while they were here we couldn't just sit around and hang out, we had to go do something. Well, that something included two nights in a very crappy house in Grants Pass Oregon (hey we had our own room, so it worked), a day spent at Crater Lake (we hiked all the way down to the water!), three nights in Brookings Oregon in a very nice house (it was awesome and had a great view), and a whole lot of driving in between. Here are some pictures of the things we did and I'll post more when I can get it to work.
Grandpa Jerry was very excited to finally have both of his granddaughters,
Lilly and Isablella, at the same time.

Isabella got to stay the night at Grandma and Grandpa Rogerson's house for the very first time. She was very well behaved and once mommy finally got her to sleep she didn't cry at all.

Isabella and Lilly got to meet their second cousin, Stacee, and third cousin, Jacob, while we were in Grants Pass.

playing more games

This is a game that Isabella and I play. She loves it when I kiss her and anticipates it by opening her mouth really wide. It cracks me up. Sorry if it's a little jumpy, I was filming and playing at the same time. (Holy crap, look at that bald spot!)

our little firecracker

The fireworks were canceled in Redding this year, so we didn't have much to do on the 4th of July. But thanks to our friends Jennifer and Anton, Isabella had the perfect outfit for the day. It was much to big, since it was bought for their normal sized baby last year, but it worked. I was a little scared to take her to the fireworks anyway, I didn't know if the noise would scare her, so I'm not really that sad that we didn't get to see fireworks.

"swimming"

Get ready for a lot of cute pictures of a very cute girl in a very tiny bikini.

She wasn't too sure about the water in the begining.
Eventually she came around and didn't mind it too much. Of course she's still too young to get all the way in the water, but it was fun to get her feet wet.
It was still fun to hang out with Daddy and all the kids in the pool. Isn't it ridiculous to think that Daddy didn't like this bikini when Mom bought it? It's so cute.

Soooo tired

Isabella was so tired. I'm not sure what we did to make her so tired, but we should do it more often.
She couldn't even make it until I could get her diaper off.

Playing games

Isabella loves to play this game with Grandma Sue. If Grandma blows on her hair it is very exciting!
Isabella loves the sling that Grandma Sue made for us. She loves to fall asleep in it when Mommy wears it and sometimes...
Even if Mommy isn't wearing it!
