JCPenneys Stinks!

So we had an appointment to get our pictures taken last Monday (the day Isabella turned three months old) at JCPenney. We were supposed to be there at 1pm, a perfect time for Isabella because it's after her morning nap and lunch and well before her afternoon nap. So the lady called us about 10 minutes before we were set to leave to tell us that the camera or something was broken and that we would have to re-schedule. I asked her if it would be fix later in the day because I really wanted to have our pictures taken that day and if it wasn't fixed we would go somewhere else, she assured us that it would. So we scheduled an appointment for 6pm. I called in at 5:30pm to make sure that everything was ready for when we would get there. The lady working had no idea that the camera was even broken that morning but assured me that everything was working just fine. So we went and took pictures. Isabella was screaming and crying the whole time, but we ended up with some cute pictures so I was fine with it. We bought our pictures along with "smiles-by-wire" so we could post our pictures on-line (of course). Yesterday we finally got the e-mail with the link to our pictures on-line and I was excited to see our pictures (even if it was on-line) and excited for Friday, when we would go pick up our pictures. Well, this morning I got a call from the fine employees at JCPenney Portraits telling me that it turns out that the camera really was broken and none of our pictures were printable so we would have to come in and re-shoot our pictures. She told me not to worry about it because they would give us all the prints we already ordered along with six extra sheets "an $85 value!". $85 value? Yeah right! I paid $3.99 a sheet, so that's only $24. Oh yeah, that's such a great deal. What a moron. So now we have to re-shoot our pictures on Saturday. I so excited because, as all you moms out there know, three months one week and five days is a milestone we all celebrate. So to anyone planning on getting pictures taken, beware of JCPenney's Portrait Studio. Don't get sucked in by the coupons. These people do not know how to take pictures!

Too bad. The pictures looked cute. Hopefully you'll get some better ones. Lily is going to her first baseball game on Saturday. Dodger vs. Diamondbacks. Don't tell dad! Scott already knows she's a Giants fan though.
